STK 2185 1992 Pontiac TransAm
This two-owner 1992 Trans Am convertible is a nice, original example of Pontiac’s Gen3 ‘pony’ car. We are told that the mileage is actual - 33,850 - and the car appears to be garage kept. Like all Firebird convertibles of this generation, this roadster is an ASC/Mclaren conversion of the coupe body. The Bright-Red exterior appears to be totally original and well maintained. The Light-Beige leather interior shows very little wear and all gauges work well. Safety/convenience features include: driver’s airbag, A/C, power seats/door locks, tinted power windows, cruise, tilt-wheel and power trunk lock. This Trans Am is also equipped with an AM/FM/CD stereo system and a power activated soft-top. The GM 5.0L (305ci) V8 is stock with Tuned Port Injection (TPI). It has never required a rebuild. Power is delivered through a four-speed automatic gearbox and stock rear differential. We believe that the Pontiac has the optional WS6 Suspension package as it sports the 16” alloys with factory WS6 centers. This package also includes heavy-duty springs, shocks and sway bars.
