The MG TF represents the end of MG's venerable T-Series. The TF roadster brought a more modern take to the TD that it replaced by being three inches lower, with a sloping grill and faired-in headlights. The car's dashboard was redesigned, with central octagon gauges. A 1,250-cc, XPAG inline-four engine was employed to generate 54 hp and was mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. This 1954 MG TF was originally sold in Brussels, Belgium. It has the correct octagon, metric instruments but was built as a left hand drive car. It changed hands from the original owner in 2005. The original owner had the restoration done and said every panel on the car is original. The odometer is in kilometers, so this car really has just over 27,000 actual miles. Mileage on the title does show the kilometers. This TF underwent a complete, frame-off restorations in 1991. The engine is original and matches the chassis number. At the time of restoration, the car received new black paint, new biscuit interior, a new stayfast top, new wiring and a complete engine rebuild. In 2012 and 2013 the car received a minor, mechanical overhaul as well. With new brakes and wheels cylinders, new exhaust, front and rear main seal gaskets and an oil pan gasket. This Midget is an absolute blast to drive and receives compliments everywhere it goes. Call today or come by and take a look. Bucket Seats,Factory Tach,Fog Lamps
