Ferrari again turned to Pininfarina to design the 308. In 1982, Ferrari launched the 308 quattrovalvole. The main change from the 308 GTBi/GTSi (1975-1981) it succeeded were the 4-valves per cylinder-hence its name, quattrovalvole, literally four valves in Italian, which pushed output up to 240hp. This beautiful 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS has been very well maintained and was the recipient of a frame on restoration in 2009. Cizeta Automobili USA of Fountain Valley, CA pulled the original engine and rebuilt it. The Ferrari was repainted in the correct Rosso Corsa while the drivetrain was removed. The A/C was also converted to R134. The wheels hubs and brakes were replaced and serviced. The pistons were ceramic coated, the crankshaft polished and the cylinder heads resurfaced and pressure tested. This car runs and drives extremely well. The invoice for the service is here at our showroom, feel free to ask for a copy. There are also pics of the car during the restoration. This 308 had 70,878 miles at the time it was restored and now has just over 75,000 miles. With an Arizona Box A (Actual Miles) title that is clean and clear, this car is ready for a new home. This 308 also comes with the original tool set and owner's manuals.
