This 1961 Nash Metropolitan was originally an Arizona rust free car that has been restored and presents very well both mechanically and cosmetically. Most recently this vehicle has had the entire braking system serviced with all components either restored or replaced as needed. New tires have also been installed recently. The exterior is finished in the original and most popular Berkshire Green/White combination. The paint presents very well with only a few very minor spots checking. It is quite obvious this car was completely disassembled when it was restored. All of the chrome and stainless trim are in excellent condition. The glass is all perfect with no chips, nicks, or scratches. All weatherstripping is soft and in very good condition. The underside of the car looks as good as the topside. The frame and floor show no visible signs of rot or extensive rust. All suspension components are in very good condition as well. The interior of this little beauty is in great shape. The seats are in excellent condition and finished in the correct pattern and material. The dash is immaculate with no aftermarket components. The carpet is in like new condition. The headliner is in fair condition with a few minor blemishes, pictures are available upon request. This Met runs and drives as good as it looks. The original 1,500 cc (1.5 L) B-Series I4 engine and three speed manual transmission are performing exactly as they should and were restored with the vehicle.
