1990 Chevrolet SS 454 "Muscle" truck which is in beautiful original
condition with only 28,358 Actual miles. This SS 454 features
original paint and decals, an original Red cloth interior which is
in fantastic condition, and the original numbers matching complete
drive line that has never been removed from the truck. This SS 454
is very solid with great lines and gaps with no signs of visible
rust or rust repair anywhere on the body or frame. This SS 454 was
always garaged and meticulously cared for by previous owners. This
SS 454 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color
combinations of Black over Red cloth interior. This is the factory
color scheme as verified on the RPO label pictured below. All the
original dealer documents come with this awesome truck including
window sticker, options list, owners manual, original owner info.,
warranty book, etc. Clean Carfax, no issues anywhere.
Exterior
The Black exterior is in super nice original condition. This SS 454
has original factory paint and graphics with factory ordered pin
stripping all which are in great survivor condition. There is no
evidence of paint work or touch ups around this truck, therefore
there are some rock chips and slight imperfections around the
truck. Overall the paint looks amazing for being 26 years old. The
paint is in great original condition and the body and frame are
both very solid with no evidence of rust anywhere. Both bumpers are
in excellent shape and it appears that the hitch is in working
condition, although it looks like it has not been used much. There
may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the
photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The
tires have good tread left but are older and are sized 275/60/15
and the wheels are OEM originals that are in terrific shape with no
curb rash and shine beautifully. The bed is extremely solid and
clean with no evidence of any rust or repair work. All glass is
original and in excellent shape.
Interior
The Red deluxe cloth interior of this SS 454 is in spectacular
original condition. The original seat covers are in excellent
condition with no major wear, rips or holes. The carpet is in great
condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original GM
floor mats come with the truck and are in like new condition. The
original dash is in great condition with no cracks or fading and
the dash bezel is in great condition as well. Wood grain accents
were added and can easily be removed if desired. The original am/fm
digital cassette stereo works but the speakers are original. The
original door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls
are solid and in tact. The rear sliding window works properly and
really lets a lot of fresh air into the cabin. All interior and
exterior lights and gauges work as they should including the fog
lights and cargo light. This truck is loaded with factory options
and all of them work including the horn, stereo, wipers, power
windows, power locks, and the fan blower on all speeds, and most
importantly the AC blows cold. The original jack and accessories
are still in the stock location and appear to never been used. This
truck has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This SS 454 is in excellent mechanical condition with only 28,358
"Actual" miles on the original drive line. We driven this truck
numerous times around town and on the highway and it always
performs incredibly well, does not run hot, rides tight, has plenty
of power, shifts firmly into gear, and is always a true joy to
drive. In the video one can observe this truck running and driving
with no excessive rattles or noises, and the truck handles and
performs very well. The previous owners of this SS 454 kept
meticulous care of the truck and regular maintenance was performed
and the truck was well cared for. This SS 454 is an exceptional
driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is
no smoke when starting or driving the truck. It starts right away
every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and
stop as they should. Newer dual exhaust was added and this SS 454
has a throaty sound at idle and cruising speeds. Also, the engine
is exceptionally clean and very original and nicely detailed as one
can see from the photos. This is a factory AC truck and we tested
the AC and it works and blows cold air. The low mileage is not only
verified by the exceptional original condition of this truck but
also by the OHIO title which states the mileage as "Actual."
