Vehicle Description
Reintroduced in 1977 the Chrysler Lebaron was the car makers lowest priced model and the name has been applied to five different cars built by Chrysler. For the 1982 Model year the LeBaron moved to the front wheel drive platform also known as the "K" platform. This platform would also known to become the car that saved Chrysler along with Lee Iacocca.
For the 1983 model year a convertible would be offered, the first domestic convertible since 1976. This along with a sedan, wagon and coupe were the variants offered from 1982-1988. A special Town and Country convertible was added from 1983-1986 and only 1100 were built in that time frame.
This particular Town and Country has been in long term ownership and is completely stock except for a new top that operates flawlessly. The 2.6 Liter engine fires right up and the car drives good down the road. The interior is near perfect with the paint showing signs of age but still very presentable.
