1971 Jaguar 4.2 Litre E-type Convertible - Primrose / Black - 59,000 miles - $79,900
The iconic Jaguar XKE (also known as the E-type) is arguably the most beautiful car ever designed. This example is a Series II left-hand drive USA model with a 4.2L inline-six engine and twin Stromberg Carburetors for the US market. It's a consigned car and is only with it's second owner! The vehicle was originally driven for a hand full of miles by Butler Imports Limited on the MSO and then sold to the first owner on 02/20/1971.
The vehicle has seen several in depth refresh services over the years. Currently, the engine is strong and in 2015/2016 had a another refresh performed by Muncie-Imports (see details below). After arrival at Gator, the horn and brake lights were brought back into service. Note: Odometer does not reflect actual miles. Currently reads 11,260. Exact actual mileage is unknown. In 1991 is was documented to have 46,000 miles and the current owner stated the car was rarely driven during the last few years of the original purchaser's ownership. The current owner believes the mileage to be about 59,000.

Overall, this is a great drive and would make a great addition to any collectors stable. The vehicle drive's out well and is agile for it's age. It holds corners well and is a joy to drive. The suspension is tight and handles well around tight bends. This is an exceptional example and is ready to be driven!
