Estimate: $15,000 - $19,000 This restored 1965 Volkswagen Beetle with a factory �Roll-Back� sliding sunroof is finished in Ruby Red over white and is truly an iconic eye catcher. It is in excellent condition. This bug was believed to be imported by an American serviceman and sympathetically restored over the years. The 69,900 kilometers are believed to be correct as many of the original parts show very little wear for their age. Much time and money has been lavished on this car. The undercarriage is amazing. The floor pans look to be original and are in pristine condition. The Ruby Red repaint is excellent and extends to the doors and underside. It shows very well with deep shine and luster. The white vinyl interior with red piping was restored and is virtually new. The red carpets are new. The 1300cc, 50 horsepower engine has good compression that starts easily and has good power and torque. The electrical system has been converted to 12V and all systems work as they should. All chrome and brightwork were clearly replaced and looks new. Mechanically this bug is in good condition and drives extremely well.
