Vehicle Description
The 1988 model year was the last for Mopar police specials, as Chrysler moved to the front wheel drive platform. These cars were equipped with the 318CI engine, firm-feel power steering, extra heavy duty suspension with front and rear sway bars, heavy duty front and rear springs, strut bushings and shock absorbers; and wide ratio TorqueFlite automatic transmission. This gently-used K9 unit was driven home to Oregon by its collector-owner, and refreshed to police specifications by Alexander Chrysler-Plymouth in Portland, who had all of the police service contracts at the time. Since then it has lived in a climate-controlled environment, taken out occasionally for shows and parades. Radios, lights and sirens are all operable. This is a great car for a Collector!
