1973 Mini 1000 RHD with 79,965 miles as of today. Blaze Orange color. I purchase the mini in Jan. 2001 from M & S Auto Sales in Florida . They had imported several minis from England.. According to M & S the Mini had one owner and still has the inspection sticker from Easton Portland Dorset England 2001. I took down the rear sub frame and had it clean , painted and replaced the Rear Swing Arms bushings , bearings, rubber cones and shocks. Replaced brake pads and brake wheel cyl. Head was resurface by Duffin Engine Serv. and new valves and valve guides installed to run with unleaded gas. New 2 core radiator , water pump and hoses . New stainless steel bumpers. Rebuilt 1.25 SU Carb.. New . coil, points ,plugs and wires.. 4 new tires Falkens 145 /70 x 12” Replaced front rubber cones , shocks. , upper arm bushings and pivot shafts and tie rod ends . No radio. Just be happy with the sound of the engine. The ball joints looked ok. Gas tank was checked and is in excellent shape. ***********I have a new headliner and a 9pc Deluxe carpet set that I was going to install after the car was repainted . As of Jan. 2017 new steering rack installed and wheels aligned for $750 .
