These kits were hand built by Classic Roadsters, LTD in Fargo, North Dakota using custom fiberglass replica 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 Roadster bodies on a custom tube frame using a Pinto V6 drive train and Chevette front and rear coil suspension, rack & pinion steering and power brakes. Just the kit itself cost $8,980.00 in 1985 money and that did not include the donor car, labor, or assorted extra parts needed to assemble it. This particular car was custom ordered by a wealthy car collector who lives in Sun Valley, Nevada who then sent it to Roadrunner Classics in Tucson, Arizona to have it professionally built and it was completed in 1992. Thousands and Thousands of dollars and many, many hours we spent on the professional build and we have the receipts and documentation to prove it !! We recently purchased this Saxon Replica from the previous Nevada owner and as you can tell this has been his pride and joy for sure. He told us that the current odometer reading of 2,655 miles is correct and they are the ACTUAL ORIGINAL MILES since the car was completed in 1992, and yes we do have an odometer statement !! It is tilted as a 1985 Classic Roadsters Saxon and carries a "Rebuilt" Nevada title designation because it is an assembled kit car. It also comes with the - ORIGINAL - driver's door jamb mounted North Dakota assigned VIN tag which is correct and good in all fifty states and the - ORIGINAL - Classic Roadsters Saxon assembly manuals and sales booklets, both of which are shown in photos.
