Offered for sale is a 1964 Corvette Convertible. This has been a local car for most of its life. It was born Riverside Red with Black vinyl interior. This vehicle is equipped with a 336 Posi-tract rear, power steering, AM/FM radio, tinted glass, auxiliary hardtop with a white soft top, backup lamp, and best of all its all original with 300HP 327 matching number engine. The vehicle was owned by Jim Burke for years and was meticulously cared for by Jack Harris. Jack was the service manager at Jim Burke for 30 years. Jack inherited this vehicle for his years of dedicated service and has been garage keep ever since. My first encounter with the vehicle was around 1999, when I was Sales Manager for Jim Burke. This vehicle sat on the showroom floor, visible from my sales desk. Jack has only driven this vehicle sparingly in the last several years and he decided to trade it in on a newer model Corvette. The 1964 Corvette has a great story; it was sold new at Bowers Jackson MTR’S in Pulaski, Tennessee on January 31, 1964 to Mike Weatherford (who we believed ordered the car). Jim Burke was the 2nd or 3rd owner. This car has service records up through 1965 in the original owners’ name. Unbelievable driver with paint that looks like it was done yesterday. A rare find offered at $49,500.
