Vehicle Description
This southwestern example features a Ford 429ci V8 motor, new Holley carburetor, C6 automatic transmission with shift kit, Mallory electronic ignition, a posi-traction rear end with 3.70 gears and adjustable coil over suspension. It's also equipped with Mustang II rack & pinion steering and steering quickener and an IFS Mustang II front end. Other features include a custom 13-quart aluminum oil pan with four oil filters and oil cooler, 16-gallon fuel tank, an hour meter for the motor and 6-core radiator with electric fan. It has deep dish American Racing mag wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes and custom-made ceramic-coated side pipes. Rounding out the re-creation is a Stewart Warner gauge package, full seat harnesses, chrome roll bar and new custom tonneau cover.
