The car was restored and modified 7 years ago and has been driven and enjoyed for over 6000 miles since. A new timing belt and water pump service was performed to the motor prior to installation and a new 4 speed gearbox was purchased and installed as well. The car features a fully custom interior, the bight work was removed and accents were blacked out to give it that out law look and the deep red paint was professionally applied and still looks awesome today. The car is riding on 15 inch wheels with Bonneville Salt Flats style wheel discs. The car is an absolute blast to drive as it is a Volkswagen on steroids. The 2.2 liter is spec'd at 134 hp, the car pulls extremely strong is all gears, the suspension is tight and provides excellent driver feedback. The steering is very responsive and with point and shoot cornering. Other highlights include custom stereo, electronic ignition, excellent wiring and front disc brakes. The presentation of this Karmann-Ghia is very aggressive and the car gets a ton of looks and complements where ever seen.
