Vehicle Description
Exterior:
The Ruby Red exterior is in great driver condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. Both doors open and shut nicely as does the rear hatch and hood, and the car exhibits good body panel fit overall. The chromed sawblade wheels have no curb rash. Often modern Corvettes will have particularly chipped up front ends as they are very low to the ground and prone to damage, this car does not. Even the black front air deflectors are in good shape. The targa top fits great and goes in and out well. It does show some of the typical crazing, which is more noticeable from inside the car and visible in the photos below. There are some small touch ups and other tiny blemishes around car that were too faint to show up in pictures, but nothing else that is really noticeable from about five or ten feet away.
The car looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
Interior:
The Ruby Red Leather interior in this Corvette is in excellent original condition. The seats are in nice shape and look in person just as they do in the photos. The bolster on the driver's seat is very prone to wear on C4 Corvettes and as one can see in the photos this car looks good for the mileage with some minimal wear. Please note that these are the original seats and skins, not some cheap aftermarket covers or replacements. The carpet is great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. This includes the rear and truck carpet. The 40th Anniversary Edition floor mats are still with the car. The door panels are in wonderful shape. The dash and console look awesome with no cracks or sun fading. This Corvette has never been smoked in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes at all. The great condition of this all original interior is a testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received over the years.
The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
Mechanical:
This C4 Corvette seems to be in excellent mechanical condition. Everything on the car works, all gauges function properly, all electrical accessories work, the air conditioning blows cold, and the car runs and drives awesome. The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idle smooth. It feels tight and smooth on the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no vibrations or strange noises and the car performs quite well overall. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights on. This Corvette is very fast. One can observe most of functions of the car operating properly in the video below including all the lights, the power top, the radio, the a/c, power antenna, and much more. The remote may need a new battery. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the the T-top out out on a beautiful day
The car runs and drives as well as it looks.
Overall Condition:
Overall, this 1993 40th Anniversary Edition Corvette is in fantasic condition. The anniversary and special edition models always draw a premium over their standard counterparts. This car is particularly desirable with a beautiful color combination and and such a great option package. It is one of the best deals on the market for a C4 coupe right now. This Corvette always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners.
