This is a very original and well preserved 65 Corvair Monza convertible. It shows just over 85,xxx well tended and cared for miles and was acquired from a local collector. It maintains its original yellow paint and black interior. Even the radio is the original unit. It has a newer black convertible top with the zip out rear window that is in excellent shape and working order. It features the optional 110 horsepower air cooled engine and the optional 4 speed manual transmission, both of which are very desirable options. The drivetrain is all original as well. Brand new Maxis white wall tires mounted on the original rims with chrome wire wheel covers complete the package. The car runs, drives, and stops very well making a great top down cruiser. The body is in excellent shape and essentially rust free. It is very rare to find such a well preserved example in this condition these days. 1965 was the first year of the very desirable second generation of these cars, and we continue to see these rise in value as collectors and enthusiasts alike seek out these unique cars.
