So the Fury was elongated each year and 1964 sales saw significant improvement with the size and new dramatic slanted roofline. The Fury was Plymouth's full-size and sporty model that dealerships could put on display to attract customers to their showrooms. The Fury was big, bold, and contained the best features available.
This 1964 Plymouth Fury Convertible was restored, finished, and featured in Old Cars Weekly in 2012. This is a very rare Mopar and it is in excellent condition inside and out in show condition in its original factory color, Turquoise. It's powered by the 318ci V8 engine and 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. Speaking of the transmission, it is push-button operated which is just down right really cool. The padded dash also contains four aligned round gauges and an electric clock. The paint job shows very well with solid base coats covered by clear coats. A new interior from Legendary Interiors and a new convertible top completed this very high quality restoration.
