<h2>1954 Polo White Convertible Corvette</h2>This wonderfully preserved Polo White 1954 Corvette is an excellent example for the discerning Corvette enthusiast/collector. Close examination of the weather stripping suggests most of it is original. The paint also appears to be original and is checked but hardly noticeable from fifteen feet away. If you look closely, you will see the original fiberglass bonding seams.

The current owner is the fourth in the Corvette’s history. He has been an excellent caretaker.
He refreshed the red interior (all the soft parts) using correct reproduction parts and it looks terrific.
He gradually replaced the incorrect external mechanical parts with correctly date coded NOS parts he was able to acquire. Only when he could not find correct original parts did he use reproductions. An example is the date-coded replacement Pexiglass side windows. He still has the originals but they are very scratched.
The Blue Flame Six engine and Powerglide transmission and differential is believed to be original to the Corvette. The numbers are all correct for the build sequence.
The owner reports his Corvette is in excellent mechanical condition. This Corvette performs, rides, and handles like you would expect from a classic of this time period. It is a thrill to drive and would make an excellent addition to your collection or to start one. The odometer is showing just 41,300 miles and is believed to be correct.
The owner said his Corvette is optioned with AM Radio, Windshield Washers, Heater, Powerglide Automatic Transmission, and Wide Whitewall Tires (bias ply reproduction). The original jack, jack handle, spare tire (non-original) and side glass and bag are stored in the trunk. The original Owners’ Manual also is in the Vettte. The wheel covers are also original except for the spinners. They are a very accurate reproduction.
