67 Catalina 2+2 Out of Bob Jensen's personal collection,presenting
his pride and joy: A highly optioned, very rare Catalina 2+2.
Thisbeauty underwent an extensive two-year restoration. The body
was strippeddown, extensively block sanded and finished in Raven
Black. All the stainlessand brightwork was restored to its current
'better than new' luster andbrilliance. The interior is original
and is very close to perfect except forthe carpeting, which was
upgraded to Daytona Weave over new Dynamat, as well ascustom made
floor mats to match. Custom grille inserts have been addedalong
with the updating of the Halo headlights. The car rides on
anupgraded air ride suspension package provided by Ride Tech. The
brainscontrolling the digital air ride have been neatly tucked away
in the trunk withthe use of custom made trunk lining panels. The
original radiator was boiled,leak tested and painted. The gas tank
has been boiled, tested and linedwith special tank sealer. New
wheel studs, brakes and calipers with new hoses,and stainless brake
lines supply the brake fluid. New stainless fuel linessupply fuel
to the numbers matching 428 CI engine with the help of a
newEdelbrock fuel pump. The engine has been removed, torn down and
resealed.Included and added to the engine is a new performance
package that includes thereconditioned original heads, camshaft,
timing set, lifters, intake manifoldand carburetor all provided by
Edelbrock. Relieving the engine is a new,custom exhaust system
including Magnaflow mufflers and full flow factory styleheaders
provided by RamAir. The engine comes to life with the help of a
newgear reduction mini starter, MSD fully electronic distributor,
and MSD streetfire wires which were made to proper length. The car
is rolling on new18" wheels and Red-Line tires. Helping the car get
down the road is an upgradedgear set, which went from 3.08 gears to
the new 3.55 gear set, which providesplenty of torque. Original
build sheet and original keys are alsoincluded. This could possibly
be the most highly optioned Catalina 2+2sold in 1967. Factory
equipment consists of air-conditioning, factory A.M.radio with rear
speaker, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power steeringand
brakes, power windows, power vent windows, hood mounted tachometer
andmore. This is truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, there's not
another Catalinalike this in the world.
