is a very early example of Maserati's famed GT Coupé, completed in September of 1967 by Officine A. Maserati S.p.A., wearing Rosso Cordoba (Red) paint over Black Connoly leather, with comforts worthy of such a thoroughbred GT: 5-speed manual, electric windows, reclining seats, heated rear windscreen and air conditioning. Early Ghiblis are uniquely outfitted from all later production with Smiths gauges, a drop-down lipped trunk lid that extends through the license plate area, knockoff Campagnolo alloy wheels, Hellebore wood-rimmed steering wheel, and the unusual early engine built with dual spark-plug holes and 40 mm Weber carburetors. These cars are said to out-perform the post-emissions regulated examples.
In 1992, the Ghibli was acquired by an East Coast owner who invested in some mechanical work. It was later purchased in April 1999 by a mid-western collector, the car was stored for more than a decade before the previous caretaker acquired it. In 2015, it was treated to a full bout of freshening and service by RMB Garage of Stockton, California for road-ready enjoyment. Maserati S.p.A. of Modena confirms with original Certificate of Origin that all chassis, engine and body numbers are matching as it left the factory. Additional Classiche documents include: Internal Factory Order, Final Tests data Sheet, Technical & Aesthetic Characteristics and Technical Data Sheet.

Today, this honest driver provides plenty of prospect for spirited Touring, with a recent Summer 2016 tune-up. This included a complete freshening of the intake and ignition systems, stainless steel exhaust, cold air conditioning, suspension bushings and components. Designed to compete with Italy's best of the era, the Ghibli is among the elite in the vintage supercar market and tremendously underpriced in comparison. This particular GT is sure to satisfy the true driver-collector connoisseur. Representing incredible value and rarity, we strongly recommend serious attention from collectors and enthusiast alike. Now available worldwide purchase and delivery at a great price.
