Vehicle Description
Restored to original specs, the outward appearance has all-original steel parts. All original Ford parts include the body, fenders, running boards, windows, bumpers, headlights and taillights, turn signals, radiator shell and temperature gauge, windshield wipers, door and windows handles, and even the flag mount on the front bumper. The original Model A frame was replaced by a new Heist assembly supporting rack & pinion steering, independent coilover suspension with fabricated control arms and disc brakes. Aftermarket wheels and tires add to the dignity and class of this carefully restored classic. The car has been driven about 1,400 miles. The engine is a newly blueprinted Chevy small-block 383ci stroker tuned for powerful street performance with camshaft, manifold, carburetor, electronic ignition, header and exhaust upgrades. The 700R4 automatic transmission makes driving much more pleasant. The lake pipes are functional. The 9" Ford differential assures a stable rear suspension and great traction. The simple but elegant custom burgundy and gray leather interior includes air conditioning, a seriously cool ceiling-mounted stereo system and a complete complement of new gauges in the tastefully built custom dashboard. The window and door controls are original Ford parts and work like new. The build was completed in 2011.
