The Shay Model A reproduction car was built by Harry Shay's company
between 1979 and 1982 and Camelot motors between 1983 and 1986.
These cars were sold by Ford dealers throughout the United States.
They were built to provide the classic look on a modern chassis,
allowing for better drivability and handling.
This one owner roadster super deluxe was purchased new in 1980 at
the Ford dealer in Cannon Falls Minnesota. This beautiful roadster
was stored in a climate controlled garage since new and was
serviced by the Eden Prarie Ford Dealer in Minnesota for its
routine maintenance for its oil changes and tune ups and fluid
changes. It is powered by a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder with 88 horsepower
with a 4 speed manual gearbox. Options include coil spring
suspension, rack and pinion steering, disc brakes, dual mounted
wire wheels, whitewall tires, rumble seat, dual ahooga horns,
luggage rack and luggage trunk, heater that comes from the floor.
It has had a new carburetor kit installed along with new electronic
starter motor and wiper motor. This roadster is finished in two
tone dove gray with black fenders and presents well. You can hop in
this car and drive anywhere with confidence.
