HISTORY:
The Cameo Carrier was Detroit's first truly stylish pickup. The molded fiberglass panels were attached to the bed and tailgate creating a beautiful new look for pickups. There were additional unique features such as the spare tire holder hidden by the drop down rear bumper and additional chrome added which gave the package a dressy look never before seen on a workhorse pickup. The 1957 model represents the pinnacle of Cameo design from the beautiful front grill to the wide painted strips down the bed panels with chrome outline & the name "Cameo" inserted.
Extremely collectible, desirable & rare with only 2244 built in 1957. (Cameo's were built 1955-1958)
