This is a meticulously crafted recreation of A.J.Foyt's championship dirt track car. Believe it or not, it is street legal. It has a vin, title and discretely installed required safety features. The quality and detail is remarkable. Built from scratch by an automotive designer that has built several vintage race cars. He incorporated many original racing components. It is true to the original right down to its sponsors decals, hand painted numbers and A.J.'s signature color. Mechanics are completley rebuilt. Has aluminum Maseratti, 4 cam engine. Impressive multiple carbs are mounted to each side of the motor but a more reliable 4 barrel is hidden under the hood. Has H.D. automatic trans for easy driving, Jag quick change rear and custom suspension. A.J.Foyt won the Indy 500 four times. He is arguably the greatest oval track, open wheel race car driver in history. Back then you had to race dirt track to qualify for championship on paved track. This car is a work of art. It is something to be admired for its details and quality. Awesome to know you that when you have the urge to do more then just look, you can take it for a spin!
