This hard-to-find 1968 Ford Ranchero GT, 1 Of Only 65 Originally Built in this fabulous Meadow Lark Yellow paint color, is very clean throughout and comes equipped with a 302 Cubic-Inch V8 Crate Engine, C4 Automatic Transmission, 8" Posi-Traction Rear-End with 3:25 Gears, Power Brakes, Power Steering, 4-Bbl Edelbrock Carburettor, Headers, Dual Exhaust, Black interior featuring factory Bucket Seats, Courtesy Light Group, Stock AM/FM Radio. The chrome, brightwork, and tinted glass are all in very good condition. Factory Rallye GT Wheels with newer T/A Radials. Black Tonneau Bed-Cover. Marti Report. Built In Kansas City 2/15/1968, this near 50-year old Ranchero GT, 1 of Only 33 Built with this Paint & Trim Combination, is a unique classic American muscle car that will make a fine addition to any garage. It is ready to drive, show, and enjoy for years to come.This '68 Ranchero GT is certainly an attention grabber and has benefited from an excellent restoration. Repainted in its original and timeless Meadow Lark Yellow color, the body on this Ford is outstanding, straight panels with the correct gaps show the high-level of craftsmanship that this car was subject to. All the exterior chrome and brightwork was replated, repolished or replaced during the restoration. Refurbished Fuel and Exhaust Systems, Electrical and Ignition System, Cooling System, and all New Belts and Hoses.Inside, the cabin is also in outstanding condition throughout and features black bucket front seats. The dash, fascia, gauges and controls, headliner, glove box, carpets, knobs, and lights are in excellent order. The bed, as well, shows excellent and includes a black tonneau cover. Undercarriage and all running gear are in outstanding, factory-fresh condition. This Ranchero's fantastic curb appeal and commanding presence make it difficult not to fall in love with this near 50-year-old classic.In 1968, a freshly redesigned Ranchero appeared, becoming the largest model since the full-sized 1959. Overall, the new Ranchero was not only bigger but also more angular than before with a more horizontal grille and horizontal headlamps. The interior was all new, as well, sharing the Torino/Fairlane's distinctive four-pod instrument cluster. Three trim levels were offered, with this example being the top-of-the-line Ranchero GT with its Torino GT trim. A seat belt warning light was a new feature, too, lighting briefly in the far left pod whenever the engine was started.
