What a cool short/wide box truck! When you outfit these trucks
with the right stance, add power steering, power brakes, and
air conditioning to the mix, these trucks make for excellent
driving, as well as an everyday usable rig. This truck was
restored about 10 years ago and since that time has been
enjoyed by its owners, continuously maintained to keep its
restoration well preserved. This truck started its life in
Texas, made its way to Oregon, and from here went to Canada for
a few years until its return here. This truck was recently
driven here from Alberta Canada and made the trip without
incident. That says a lot about its road-worthiness. That
aside, this truck is very nicely appointed, is very clean and
drives excellently.
The interior looks great and is very comfortable. The column
shift automatic has been upgraded to a Turbo 350 from a 2 speed
Power glide. All of the lights work as well as the gauges. The
seat, door panels and the cab are clean as original. This is a
"Big Back Window" deluxe cab which adds to the trucks
desirability and certainly its drive-ability. The bed wood and
strips are excellent, and the engine starts and runs very well
through the deep , low tone dual exhaust. If you want a nice
truck that you can drive anywhere and be comfortable in the
heat or the cold, be able to pick up items from Home Depot, and
then head over to a car show or cruise-in and win a trophy as
well as admiring looks, well, this just might be your best
choice for a new truck!
