Vehicle Description
The one owner of this 1973 Mustang convertible received it as a 16th birthday gift in July 1973. The Marti Report indicates this was a fleet order. It has been garaged and kept in very fine condition. The top, rear glass, interior vinyl and carpet have been replaced. Generally, items have been replaced as they have been worn. It has been driven only for show and runs extremely well. This car has not been restored; it has been maintained. It came from the factory with high-performance items such as competition suspension, high-rise lifters, instrumentation group, 351 Cleveland engine with Cobra Jet 4-barrel carburetor, 4-speed Hurst shifter, variable-ratio power steering, power front disc brakes and forged aluminum wheels with radial tires. All of that still exists with the car to this day (new radial tires). It is also equipped with tilt wheel, rim blow deluxe steering wheel, air conditioning and Mach I hood. The only additions to the factory items were an updated radio designed to fit into the factory dash without modification and fog lights. In very good condition, it only needs some minor interior detail work on the dash. It's been garaged for over 97% of its existence.
