With the title "Mach 1" comes the expectation of performance. This breed of pony was built to leave everyone else at the start line. The Mach 1 was not only aggressive in performance but also looks and stance. The package was only available in the Sportsroof body style, never hard top or convertible. It came with upgraded suspension varying on the choice of power train. The Mach 1 was so successful in 1969 that it led to the discontinue of the GT. This wild ride was not built to be kept in the stable. It has a 351 Cleveland with a 4 barrel with headers, and it is a full roller motor with estimated 500 horsepower. The c6 transmission is a reverse manual valve body transmission with stall converter and has been professionally gone through and functions as it should. This mustang recently came to us from a long stay in California. It rides on magnum 500 wheels. It has MSD ignition. It also has an electric cooling fan along with electric water pump, power brakes and power steering, external transmission cooler with custom firewall mounter filter.
