Based on the Valiant Plymouth created the Scamp, a smaller
wheelbase 2 door hardtop that fit nicely in the mopar world. This
1972 Scamp is a fun driver with a great look. It is coated in nice
Orange paint with the Black rear stripe. Dual hood scoops with hood
pins grace the front for the total muscle car look. All of the
chrome is in nice condition as is the stainless window trim. The
glass is tinted and free from damage throughout. The car sits on
14/7 Rally wheels which are wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial T/A
tires that have plenty of life left.
Powering the car is a 318 V8 motor that has been modified from
stock for a little extra power. The car drives well and has no
problem taking off when needed. The engine has been fitted with a
Edelbrock dual plane aluminum manifold, a Holley 650cfm carburetor,
an aftermarket cam, Hedman headers and Hooker exhaust with cutouts
for the ultimate sound. The motor is paired with a rebuilt 727
automatic transmission with 2400 stall and an added transmission
cooler. When it comes time to stop the car slows smoothly with
power brakes throughout and discs up front.
The interior just received 2 new bench seats done in Black with
houndstooth style upholstery in the rear. They are very comfortable
and the front incorporates a folding center arm rest. To the floor
a B&M Quick Silver shifter was added with shift kit. This
allows you to throw it in gear and go or ratchet through the gears
yourself. The dash is painted Orange with woodgrain inserts and a
Black dash pad. It utilizes all of the original gauges except for
the tachometer which was added. The dash also features a Sony Xplod
stereo that delivers a great sound. An underdash AC unit is in
place and looks original but is currently not hooked up. The trunk
of the car is painted Black and houses a spare wheel.
This fun muscle car is ready for a new home so come check it out
today! You don't see many of these around and a Mopar collection
can't be considered complete without one.
Take this Scamp out on the streets for $19,850.00!
