Oldsmobile introduced the Super 88 in 1951. For the 1952 model year the Super 88 was Oldsmobile’s most produced vehicle with 118,558 units produced. The Super 88 was offered in five different body styles, with the rarest being the convertible coupe with only 5,162 examples produced for the 1952 model year. The first generation Super 88 was produced through 1953.
This 1952 Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertible is presented in Cascade Green with a green power convertible top. The car rides on wide whitewall tires mounted on steel wheels with factory wheel covers. More exterior features on the car include factory fender skirts and dual exhaust. This Super 88 is powered by a high-performance 303-cid Rocket Power V-8 engine featuring four-barrel carburetion. The engine is paired to a Hydra-Matic transmission. The interior is completed in two-tone leather featuring an electric clock and AM radio.
