Ollie, Cobble Hill's version of "the little old lady from Pasadena", has had this vehicle for 13 years. Her son Richard designed and restored the majority of the car. Unfortunately, part way through the restoration in June 2002 he learned he had advanced cancer. His friends from Foothills Kruizin pitched in to help him with the goal of having the car ready for Calgary's World of Wheels international car show Feb. 2003. It was touch and go to have it completed in time but it was and the car won its first of many awards: “World of Wheels” award for the best classic car. One month later Richard passed away and Ollie took over care and showing of the car. Richard had a knack for putting things together and it shows it in this car. This vehicle must be seen in order to appreciate the attention to detail with regards to the calibre of restoration that has been done. The entire interior of the car has been done in orange leather with custom work on the headliner and door panels in purple to match the exterior. The body might be 1926 but mechanics of the car are state of the art. The car is very rare and very well done and runs like a charm. Ollie has taken the car to all the car shows on Vancouver Island and it has won more than 25 awards/trophies. Oh, the inspiration for the colors were tropical fish seen while scuba diving in Indonesia. Ford 302 V8, 4-Bar with a 5" dropped axle. Power Steering. Power Brakes. Custom leather interior, power windows, CD Stereo etc. Approx 13000 kms.
