Vehicle Description
1968 Chevrolet Corvette Big Block Roadster. This incredible
Corvette is currently set up as a track car for road course racing
but is street legal. The best part is that every part or piece that
was changed is fully cataloged and included in the sale of this
car. It is powered by a 502CI Big Block crate engine mated to a
Muncie M21 transmission with M22 Rock Crusher gearset inside. You
also get the original matching numbers 427CI Big Block and matching
numbers Muncie M21 Transmission. The previous owner bought this
Corvette in the late 1980's and spent five years doing a frame-off
restoration on this numbers matching 427 Big Block roadster
(picture albums included in the sale) to the full Bloomington Gold
standards. Not a detail was overlooked and it won numerous awards
at various car shows. Then, in the late 1990's either his youth
spent racing cars in southern California or his need to tinker, as
he was a former Professor of Mechanical Engineer at Villanova
University, took hold. The original motor, transmission,
suspension, seats, wheels & tires were all removed and catalogued.
THIS MEANS it can be "restored" to its original condition when it
came off the showroom floor with it's 427 BIG BLOCK, 390 HP 4-speed
or sell the parts or sell the parts etc for a profit. They are
labeled and numbered to make it easier. The original block, heads,
and complete engine with a factory correct tri-power setup
including intake, carbs, air cleaner, etc. is available along scads
of other parts too numerous to mention and instruction manuals.
