Wow, what a Hot Rod! This 1939 2-door Master Deluxe Chevrolet has
just finished an exhaustive, groud-up restoration. The body is
all-steel with all metal being except the smooth firewall, rear
roll pan, and door bottoms. The fenders are even stock 39 but with
the louvers filled in (with steel of course). Even the floors,
trunk and running baords are original. The car is painted with BASF
Glasurit paint in a Lamborghini Pearl-Orange that really makes the
curves on this car pop. The wheels are custom aluminim aritillery
wheels from Thw Wheel Smith in a 17x7 front 18x10 rear wrapped in
brand new Michelin tires. This car may look vintage, but that is
only skin-deep; this car is powered by GM LS 5.3 engine that was
almost new (have pics of under the valve covers and it shows it)
that was ungraded with an Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT intake and Ceramic
Coated headers. The transmission is the matching 4l65e electronic
overdrive transmission. The chassis/suspension has been updated as
well with Mustang-ll front and an Explorer rear and 4-wheel disc
brakes, and what would a modern Street Rod be without Vintage Air.
It has that too. Fuel is supplied through a Tanks, inc tank with an
in-tank pump. The interior is full custom with the finest
materials, from the square weave carpet to the Ultra leather that's
buttery smooth with suede inserts to make it pop. A billet steering
wheel tuens through an IDIDIT column and the Billet Specialties
handle round out the shiny parts. The dash is from a 55 Chevy and
Sports new Classic Instruments Bel-Era II gauges and the matching
clock for the passenger side. Of course the glass is all new,
custom made laminated glass. ***This car won Best in Class Street
Rod at Super Chevy in St. Louis and was a two part feature in Full
throttle magazine***
