Vehicle Description
The Studebaker Lark was a compact car which was produced by Studebaker from 1959 to 1966. The Lark was a product of the Studebaker-Packard Corporation. The Lark was redesigned for 1963 in an effort to make Studebaker viable again.
This 1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona 2 door hardtop is the product of an older restoration that has held up very well. Currently the odometer is showing 45,384 miles. This Studebaker is finished in Regal Red with a red vinyl and cloth interior. The red exterior paint shows very well with no apparent signs of rust, some of the chrome trim is pitting but still has a good shine to it. The interior of the car appears to be original to the car and it is showing some signs of wear and fading. The headliner appears a little loose but does present well. The dash pad is in very good shape and the glove compartment still has the vanity mirror and cup holders. The underside of this car is very solid with no apparent rust issues.
This Studebaker Lark Daytona came from the factory with a rare white sun roof, individual front seats, power steering and 15" wheels with Studebaker hubcaps. The car is powered by a 259 cubic inch V-8 motor mated to a "flight O matic" automatic transmission.
This Lark Daytona is a fun car to drive with its V8 engine and power steering. Drive something a little different from the crowd!
