GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa for purchase. Marking the third year of the 911SC, Porsche was taking orders quicker than they could build this new generation 911. The SC was now the only normally aspirated 911 Porsche available, replacing the 911S in the US and Canada and the 2.7 in rest of the World markets. The new buyer probably would not have noticed new details like the brake servo (fitted for the first time across the range), that greatly improved derivability around town and reduced pedal effort when the brakes were cold, but the increased power and performance delivered by the 3.0 liter engine could not go un noticed.
This 1980 911 SC was last purchased in 2005 and a lot of money was invested to bring the car to the excellent condition it currently sits in. It received a professional bare metal paint job in 2006, and the 3.0L 6 cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission was completely rebuilt by the renowned experts at Euro Autowerks in 2008. They also installed Porsche seats from 90's Porsche that has power and heated features for added comfort. It also features a momo steering wheel, aftermarket stereo with aux input, black alloy wheels, and much more!
