This old 1961 Cadillac convertible was given to a lady in Tucson by her husband when new. In 1973 the lady had an affair with her neighbor, his wife found out and she broke every piece of glass on the Cadillac. The Cadillac sat for 43 years and it was never repaired or driven after that and the original mileage of 18,255 is what it had 43 years ago and it still does. We bought the car from the daughter after her mom passed away a few years ago and she told me the history of the car. We replaced the broken windows except for the windshield, after 43 years of storage we also had to replace the floor of the car, it was professionally done and we used an original floor out of a rust free Arizona parts car, no China made panels. We replaced a few other panels at the same time. The pictures were taken when I bought the Cadillac years ago and the rust you see is not there anymore, except for surface rust. We are re-sellers for 3 manufacturers of Classic car glass and can get a new windshield, just let us know if that is of interest. I was always planning on redoing the Cadillac and keep it, I love 1961 Cadillac's but with our restoration shop still full of projects after all these years, and let's face it, I'm getting up there in age I decided to put the Cadillac up for sale. The seat frames have been rebuilt and re-foamed but they have not been covered yet (I have not decided on colors yet). The car is stored at our restoration shop in down town Phoenix. WE SELL AND SHIP WORLDWIDE, SINCE 1986.
