1964 FORD RANCHERO, GREAT BODY, A/C.
This truck has a 4 speed stick shift transmission and 9 inch rear end but the motor is not there.
There is a disassembled V8 available that might be the original, I'm not sure. The previous owner who pulled and disassembled the engine passed away not that long ago so there is no one to ask.
The body is really good, I can only find a few rust bubbles behind the right rear wheel and I'm talking 5-10 bubbles only.
The rear floor pans have been welded so there was rust there also at some point.
As far as I can see this was a V8 truck with a stick shift trans on the steering column. It was later converted to a floor shifter with an old Hurst stick and handle.
The paint job is an old 80's job, dark blue metallic with some kind of custom job in the center of the body.
Very nice bed floor, very nice tail gate, doors, fenders etc.
There is a newer Ford V8 that he might had been planning on installing in the Ranchero, it is complete and looks like it is ready to install. It can be purchased separately at a very cheap price.
