1978 Gold Trans Am This 1978 Pontiac Firebird Solar Gold Trans Am is a Survivor with low mileage and matching numbers drive train. Factory Pontiac 6.6 liter 400 c.i. factory original auto. (Fresh rebuilt) transmission. The only modes to the car is the exhaust has been up graded to (fresh) true duals flowmasters and new t/a tips, tinted windows and upgraded stereo. It has power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, tilt wheel ect, The previous owner had owned for over 35 years took great care of it and rarely drove it. He had it repainted once a few years ago and they did and excellent job the interior has also been freshen up and is very nice. Body panel are all original as are the floor pans and trunk. T -tops are in super nice condition and come with gm bags. It starts,runs and drives like it rolled off the showroom floor from General Motors and with the dual 2/1/2” exhaust pipe and a pair of flowmasters it sounds great. The clean ones are getting more rare and it’s harder to find one this nice. Everything works on the car right down to the factory clock due to pervious owner had a battery disconnect during storage.
