This is a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. When GM announced that 1976 would be the last year of the convertible, there was massive demand for the car and it became an instant collector item. It has 47,606 miles which we believe to be original, but we cannot confirm its accuracy. It was sold on February 23, 1976 by Swift Pontiac & Cadillac in Warren, Pennsylvania to a buyer from Ohio. It comes with the massive 500ci V8 190HP engine which GM stopped producing after 1976 and it remains the largest engine ever to power a production Cadillac. It is mated to a Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic 3 speed transmission. The beautiful Firethorn paint is showing a little age but still has a nice shine and the white Sierra Grain leather interior is a fine example of America’s top luxury car available at that time. It has 4 wheel power disc brakes which was new for 1976, power steering, power windows, power drivers seat, cruise control, tilt wheel and a functioning cold Air Conditioner. Overall, the exterior is in good shape and the shine is still bright with only some road wear from being enjoyed around town. The chrome bumpers, trim and paint are all in good condition with the trim around the front grill showing a little fading. The interior is in great condition and the front leathers seats are new and the back seats have no rips or tears. The 6-way power front drivers seat is fully functioning. The power convertible top is new and operates nicely. It has the glass rear window and comes with fiber glass “parade” tonneau covers for a cleaner look. Everything in the dash still works except for the clock. The power antenna still works along with the stock AM/FM 8-Track Radio. The black wheel covers still look great and the tires are brand new! The classic woodgrain from the dash to the doors has stood the test of time.
