Vehicle Description
Would you ever really be deciding between a collector car with a
street-eating V8 and an economy hatchback? Of course not! So right
now you can pick up a future classic 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS
with an enhanced V8, A/C, and T-tops for the cost used
econobox...you're decision has already been made.
There's no mistaking the fourth-generation Camaro SS with its
massive hood scoop force feeding the LS1 underneath. It is finished
in stunning Rally Red, which was a popular color for this
aggressor. Although, that's a relative term, since only 360 red
automatic SS coupes were built in 2001. Correct SS badges on the
front fenders and rear bumper help identify what was ultimately a
very sophisticated package. There's also a large integrated wing
out back, and the blacked-out canopy gives it a purposeful look.
Even if you do decide to keep this pristine Camaro for an
investment, the T-top will probably lure you out for plenty of
starry night cruises.
The black leather interior was part of the top-of-the-line package,
offering comfort and performance without compromising either. The
supportive bucket seats are both grippy in the corners and
comfortable for all-day drives. Carpets, door panels, and the dash
are immaculate, and the back seats appear to have never seen sat
in. All SS Camaros came only one way: loaded. That means power
windows, power locks, keyless entry, dual airbags, cruise control,
tilt wheel, power seats, and a powerful factory AM/FM/CD stereo
that you can hear with the T-tops out. And since this car is built
to be open to the world, the air conditioning continues to be
ice-cold so you can run with the roof out any time of the year.
The LS1 under the hood was originally rated at 325 horsepower,
thanks to some re-working by the masters at SLP. This already
brought the car near the Corvette's territory (some say it was
understated just to keep the 'Vette on top,) but this special one
takes it even further. Add in a Comp Cam and Diablo programmer, and
this hardy V8 can become a 400 hp screamer (the upgraded SS dual
exhaust will certainly let the world know, too.) But because this
high-horsepower car is also a modern classic, it means the
convenience of a four-speed automatic transmission and ABS. Plus,
this has great upgrades like four-wheel disc brakes w/drilled
rotors and tacky Bridgestone tires on the special SS alloy
wheels.
This is a great future classic with great upgrades offered at a
great price. Now is the time to act because you're not the only one
who can afford this unique Camaro SS. Call today!!!
