It features the factory 236 cid six-cylinder engine under the hood with the numbers-matching 3-speed manual transmission, and it is also nicely equipped for modern highway driving. With awesome curb appeal and six decades of tender loving care, this true survivor is one of the more impressive examples we’ve seen in quite some time. Been with Same Family Over Four GenerationsThis 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop has been with the same family since it was purchased new in the San Francisco Bay area. The current owner (which is a 4th generation family member) had this amazing classic fully restored back in 2004 and he informs us that one still has its numbers-matching drivetrain and many of the original parts/accessories. In fact, this is one of the more original examples we’ve come across in quite some time and it still performs admirably as well.In terms of actual condition, this 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air is above the typical driver standard with nice exterior paint, smooth chrome and a super-clean interior. It does show a few minor blemishes that would prevent it from being a true #2 vehicle, but everything is here and it’s been well cared for throughout the years.
