Letter from current and original owner:
The car is togo brown (very rare) with faun interior.
It was built at the Karman works, Serial No: 220122 , with the engine block stamped "813014".
The engine was rebuilt 2 times with a 1720 cc kit.
The last rebuild (about 10 years ago included extensive body rebuild with new manufactured flooring system
and all heavily rusted places welded with very little lead used.
I bought bought it new in March of 1965 from Brumo's Porsche in Jacksonville, Fl and, as I was in the Air Force at the time, I immediately
driven to back Travis AFB and it was driven in that vicinity for almost 3 years. There, it was maintained at the Porsche
dealership in Vallejo, California.
Returning to Florida for most of it's life, it has never been subjected to heavy road salt. Here it has been maintained
first by Brumo's or myself and subsequently maintained by Franz Foreign Car Service. Franz rebuilt the car in
approximately 2002-3, during which the second engine rebuild occurred.
Soon after the rebuild/restoration and completion, the gas tank sprung a leak, because of which the car was again stored.
Early this year (2016) it was taken to Franz Foreign Car service and was returned to running condition.
