This white 1934 Buick Series 60 Model 61 5P Club Sedan is just 1 of 24 registered today. This survivor, while keeping its original looks, has been modified to the standards of comfort and performance today.
When this project started, the car had 67,000 miles existing. The last time it was licensed was in 1963 in California. It was stored in San Pedro until 1988, when it was moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona until the current owners acquired it in 1991; they are the 3rd owners of this magnificent car!
Engine: 1970 Stage 1 Turbo Hydro 455, bored over to 468 and AFB 850 cfm
Transmission: 1970 Turbo Hydro 400
Rear Suspension: 9in. With 3.25 gears, leaf springs, gas shocks and sway bar
Front Suspension: IFS tubular control arms, coil springs, gas shocks and sway bar
Steering: Power rack and pinion with tilt column
Air Condition: Dual Vintage air and heat. Front pop down a/c outlets under dash
Interior: Sculptured w/ matching leather and wool carpet. Fully restored original guages, AM/FM Cassette with 6 disk changer
Fuel Tank: 38 gal. aluminum fuel tank
Wheels: Custom made with original artillery center spider
Brakes: Four wheel power assist Wildwood disc w/ dual rear caliper emergency
Radiator: Custom five row aluminum radiator with transmission cooler. Steel braided Teflon cooler lines and cool flex hoses
Exhaust: Original ceramic coated manifold, 1 1/2 in. aluminum exhaust and FlowMaster mufflers
Tires: B.F. Goodrich P275R60-15
Misc: Floors 1/4in. T60 aluminum, wood door jams and supports replaces with steel. Powder coating and stainless throughout restoration. The only exterior modification as the relocation of the gas door, Cowl vent and Roof fills
