Auction # 503-1947 Desoto Custom 2-door Sedan NO RESERVE They only made about 3,000 2-doors in this body style. The car is all original with the exception of the paint and the seats being recovered. It has the original flathead 6 with fluid drive transmission. Runs and drives great, and has 23000 original miles. The car sat in a barn from 1964 till 2001 when previous owner repainted it and got it back on the road. The body is solid. Paint is decent, and has all new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, rubber lines, master cylinder, and steel lines on the back half of the car. Also has new rear axle seals, plugs, wires, points, condenser, cap, rotor, coil, 6v battery, and a carb rebuild. All the gauges work and has 40lbs oil pressure and does not overheat.
