1970 Chevelle SS 396/375+HP (NOM) 4 Speed Shadow Gray with Black Rally Stripes and Black Interior Twenty-six years ago, our seller found this cool Shadow Gray Super Sport and had to bring it home! This is a well restored and maintained Chevelle that has had a long history with the same owner and lots of receipts to prove the mechanical work completed. Mechanically, she is turn key ready. The engine was rebuilt in 2012, although the mileage driven in the last four years has been only about 2,000. The conservative estimate of horsepower is 375+ and detailed receipts support the build. The engine block has the casting # 3969854 and the deck ID is CE 153540, indicating a warranty replacement. The transmission was rebuilt in 2003. The suspension was also rebuilt (bushings, etc) and the 3.31 rear end also has less than 2,000 miles. It has headers and Flowmaster exhaust. Aftermarket gauges were added to include the Tachometer, Oil Pressure, Alternator, and Temperature. Attention to minor items needed (not working) includes the Clock, original Alt, Temp, Tach (factory in-dash!), Emergency Brake cable, radio and backup lights. The wheels are Chromed Keystone, and the Rally Wheels with trim rings and center caps will go with the car. The paint was refinished to factory code correct #17 Shadow Gray and even though eight years old, the mileage has only been a few thousand... she looks excellent overall.
