1975 Triumph TR 6 2 Owners from New 44,784 Miles Original factory Topaz Color... Beautiful! Our 75 year old seller bought this very cool TR 6 over 40 years ago when it had just 4,000 on the odometer! It has been well cared for during his stewardship and properly stored when not in use. Recent maintenance items include replacing the fuel lines and new shocks. The soft top is in good serviceable condition, although the plastic window has fogged. It would be easily worth it to put on a new top. The body is very straight and clean, and the paint shows vey well. The interior is in very good condition and notably, the bolsters on the seats have very minor wear commensurate with the low mileage, however, the foam has weakened with age. The undercarriage was undercoated and the Ziebart rustproofing process was completed when the car was new. The options are limited on the TR 6 of this vintage and this one has the AM/FM Radio, a sporty luggage rack and Redline Radial tires. Excellent ownership history, super low mileage, striking color and lots of fun to drive! Call us for more details or come see it at our Detroit location! A vintage British roadster can be an expensive proposition both to buy and to service, especially if it has a six-cylinder engine.
I’ve had this car a few years. Like a lot of custom builders, your own car project seems to hit the back burner.
The great Triumph TR6. The TR6 was the last of the old British roadsters and is one of the easiest to live with as well. The Pick of the Day is a 1970 Triumph TR6 located in San Antonio.
The 1969 through 1976 Triumph TR6 was known as the quick, nimble, what-a-blast-to-drive and totally British sports cars of the day.
