DeLorean, Pontiac's general manager at the time, ordered the development of an all-new Grand Prix based on a slightly stretched version of the intermediate GM A platform, which was dubbed the G-body. The new 1969 Grand Prix was big no matter how you measured. With a new 118-inch wheelbase, the SJ model with 370 base horsepower from the big 428. It was a big showroom success, too, with Grand Prix sales up an astonishing 225 percent over '68. Even the SJ model pushed big numbers; over 10,000 sold, but this is one a kind.

This eye-catching Grand Prix in Synergy Green is not that only that sets the car apart, even at night the paint job is still going to turn heads as it glows in the dark! Matched with a like new Black vinyl roof touring around the rest of the car you will notice an aftermarket rear spoiler and added and ram air intakes from a GTO to feed the bored out 428ci (7.0 L) V8 to now have the power of the bigger 455. Also added to keep this engine running are an aluminum radiator, Edelbrock aluminum heads, HEI carburetor and plugs, hi-rise aluminum intake, dual exhaust with headers and tuning bar and high-energy ignition system. Tires and wheels are in excellent shape, cross drilled and slotted rotors in the front. According to the owner a new drivers side floor pan, black carpet, black seats with white side interior, updated stereo system with MP3 and subwoofer, dual speaker up-front and comes with kick panels and 6" speakers. This is certainly an unmistakable example of a classic with lots of features added to keep it driving for years to come!
