For Sale: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette in Corona, California

Vehicle Description

SoCal Classic and Exotic Motors is proud to present this 1963 Corvette 327/300 hp L75 Stingray Convertible.

Here's your opportunity to own the first year of the iconic Corvette Stingray. The 1963 second generation of America's Sports Car received a major restyling, new mechanics and a new name "Stingray". Among other features were independent rear suspension and hidden twin headlights, which added to the aerodynamics of the car and both became staples of the Corvette for years to come.

This 1963 Corvette went through a major body restoration in 2010 on a very original never abused corvette. The car was added to the DARCARS Classic Collection in 2012. In 2014 the car went through additional updates to the mechanicals and electrical to ensure years of worrisome maintenance with full instrument package with clear faces and working tack and clock. The restoration is several years old and holding up well. Straight bodywork, no signs of stress in the usual places. Bumpers and gaps line up well, interior looks great. Knock of wheels look vintage; newer whitewall tires with no scuff marks. Under hood is neat and tidy.

This 63 Corvette was originally gold & tan and during the restoration was transformed to Riverside Red with black interior has a numbers matching 327/300hp backed up by a Muncie M20 4 speed. Non OEM Trim Tag. Options include AM/FM radio, knock off aluminum wheels with correct white wall bias ply tires. Painted in Riverside Red base coat/clear coat completely color sanded and buffed, chrome looks new and the underside of the car looks as good as the top.

More specifically here are some of the items addressed during the original restoration and subsequent updates. New radiator, new headlight motors, new wiring of whole gauge cluster, new Ed Koch top, new oil pan, rebuilt motor, new battery, new wiper motor, rebuilt clock, new bushings in rear, new u-joints, fuel pump rebuilt, new fuse box, new fuel sending unit, rebuilt carburetor etc.
