1976 Mercedes 240D Runs and Drives Great Extensive Service History Great Fuel Economy Manual Transmission Air Conditioning Has not been converted to Bio Diesel We took this nice little 240D in on trade the other day from a gentleman who had owned the car for many years. I have never seen so much in the way of maintenance records on any car, ever. The literally hundreds of records date back into the 1980s and show the level of attention this car has received through its life. Overall the car is in very good shape, other than one tear in the drivers seat and a front lower valance that could use some love, it shows very nicely. The car runs and drives extremely well, as it should do to having fresh ball joints, shocks and much more. There is a little rust in a few places, please look at all the images I try to show all the effected areas. It is minor and not structural, you could continue to drive the car for another 40 years no problem. The mileage is believed to be right at 200k, as the odo is about to roll over. Other than a few cosmetic items if you care about that, this little Benz is 100% ready to go and give many more miles of economical fun driving.
