The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Metropol Blue leather interior. It is powered by Porsche’s water-cooled 3.6L H6 Twin Turbo rear-mounted engine mated to a 5-Speed Tiptronic gearbox with steering wheel shifters.
Swtizer Performance of Ohio upgraded this car with some incredible performance parts. It has the Porsche Switzer Performance 850p Package, TiAL Alpha28 turbos, Switzer intercoolers, Switzer custom exhaust manifold and exhaust, Switzer header intake w TiAL blow off valves, Bilstein suspension coil over kit. The motor is stock and currently running stock boost levels. This 996 is the definition of a sleeper. From the exterior, it appears to be a stock 911 but you will soon find with a press of the right pedal that you are driving something much more powerful. It spits and snarls like a race car and desires to be driven at higher RPM’s. The acoustics from the exhaust are beautifully breathtaking. The car is currently pushing 600hp but can be dialed in to achieve over 800. It has been built to go fast and the aftermarket performance packages deliver that rush and then some. You will NOT be disappointed behind the wheel, nor as a passenger.
This car has thousands more invested than the asking price. Simply put, you cannot buy this car for the price it took to build it. The car comes with manual, project photo book, and two sets of keys. It also has an extra set of TechArt wheels that can be purchased extra with the car. It is only for sale because the last owner, the man who worked tirelessly on it, passed away.
Proceeds from the sale of this car will be donated to the Ryan Jones Memorial Fund, established in December of 2013. Ryan, who was co-owner of TiAL Products in Owosso, Michigan passed away at the young age of 43 on October 1, 2010. He graduated from Corunna High School in 1985 and enjoyed working side by side with his brother, Gregg. He also enjoyed cars and snowmobiles. The purpose of this fund is to benefit patients who suffer from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (“ALS”) by providing services to improve their quality of life.
